NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam OMR Sheets Released; Check Response Sheet At neet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the scanned Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) response sheets and recorded responses for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Candidates can now access their response sheets by logging in to the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, using their application number and password or date of birth.

The release of the OMR sheets comes after the publication of the provisional answer key on June 25. By comparing their recorded responses with the provisional answer key, candidates can estimate their probable scores ahead of the declaration of results. The NTA had earlier informed candidates that the scanned OMR sheets would be made available once the scanning process was completed.

Candidates are advised to carefully verify their OMR sheets and recorded responses. If they identify any discrepancy, they can raise objections through the official portal within the stipulated window. Challenges submitted by candidates will be reviewed by subject experts, and if found valid, the provisional answer key will be revised accordingly before the final answer key is published.

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination was conducted on June 21 following the cancellation of the original exam held on May 3 amid allegations of a paper leak. The re-test was conducted under enhanced security measures to ensure transparency and fairness in the admission process.

The final answer key is expected to be released after all objections have been examined, following which the NEET UG 2026 re-exam results will be announced. As per multiple media reports, the results are likely to be declared by July 20, although the NTA has not yet officially confirmed the date.

NEET UG is India’s largest undergraduate medical entrance examination and serves as the gateway for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical programmes offered by government, private and deemed universities across the country.
