BPSC 72nd CCE Prelims 2026 Date Announced; Exam To Be Held On July 26

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the schedule for the 72nd Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Preliminary 2026. According to the official notification, the preliminary examination will be conducted on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 12 noon to 2 pm at examination centres across various districts of Bihar.

The BPSC 72nd CCE is one of the state’s biggest recruitment examinations, conducted to fill vacancies in various administrative and allied services under the Bihar government. The commission had earlier notified around 1,230 vacancies under the recruitment drive, attracting applications from thousands of aspirants across the country.

Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to regularly visit the official BPSC website for updates regarding the release of admit cards, examination centre details and important instructions. The admit cards are expected to be issued before the examination date.

The preliminary examination will consist of objective-type questions and serves as the first stage of the BPSC selection process. Candidates who qualify in the prelims will be eligible to appear for the Main examination, followed by the interview round.
